Avoid Alcohol Before Your Test

Breath Specimen Collection
Our certified BAT collector administers the test using a DOT-approved Evidential Breath Testing device. The process takes approximately 15 minutes.
Immediate Results
Results are available immediately. Screening result of 0.02 BAC or higher triggers a confirmation test per DOT protocol.
Reporting & Documentation
Results are reported to you, your employer DER, or your court/program administrator as required. Court-formatted documentation provided upon request.
❓ Common Questions
What is the DOT cutoff for a BAT test?
Under 49 CFR Part 40, a BAC of 0.04 or higher is a DOT violation. A result between 0.02 and 0.039 triggers a removal-from-safety-sensitive duty requirement but is not a violation. A second confirmation test is required for any result of 0.02 or higher.
Can a BAT test be used for a court program or DUI diversion?
Yes. BAT results are court-admissible and accepted by drug courts, DUI diversion programs, probation officers, and family court proceedings. We provide court-formatted documentation on every test.
How long does alcohol show up on a breath test?
Breath alcohol testing detects current BAC only — typically alcohol consumed within the past 12–24 hours depending on the amount consumed. For longer detection windows, ask about our EtG urine alcohol test (up to 80 hours).
Do I need an appointment?
No — walk-ins are welcome during business hours. Scheduling ahead minimizes wait time and guarantees your spot, which is recommended for DOT post-accident testing where time-sensitivity matters.
Can my employer order a BAT test directly?
Yes. Employers with an account can authorize BAT testing directly. Contact us to set up an employer account with billing and reporting access.
